The terminal at Eppley Airfield is a busy one with many eating establishments, shopping and more for the convenience of the airline’s passengers. There are three terminals with food as well as Concourse A and Concourse B Gates that also provide a selection of food items. The airport’s North Terminal has a Kentucky Fried Chicken, Taco Bell, Godfather’s Pizza, Scooter’s Coffee and the Pauli’s Lounge as well as the Hangar Express station. It is the busiest terminal. The South Terminal has an A & W Restaurant, a Godfather’s Pizza, a Soup and Sandwiches Shop, a Scooter’s Coffee and a Hangar Lounge. Parking at the airport is relatively inexpensive with charges limited to $31.50 per week for regular parking and $45.00 per week for car parking in a one of the garages. One-half hour of parking will typically run you about one dollar. Tac Air at Eppley Airfield (in Omaha, Nebraska) offers several flying services such as fuel like Avgas or Jet-A Fuel, a Pilots’ lounge, pilot briefing area, a conference area, hangar space, tie-downs, full service avionics and maintenance that is provided by Standard Aero, de-icing, complimentary crew cars and a Plasma TV to enjoy between flights or meetings. The customer service is a full 24 hours daily, so they are always open. The Hertz Rental Cars also have a post operating out of this facility. Another aircraft service provider at the airport is Elliot Aviation, a company providing airline charters and aircraft rental. This airport has a total of six runways, twenty boarding gates and about 90 daily departures. The airport spans over an area of roughly 2,650 acres while the runways are at an elevation above sea level of approximately 984 feet above sea level. The airline is responsible for much of the country’s mail delivery at around 54.3 million pounds of it in the year 2009. The longest runway at the Eppley Airfield, Runway 14R, is 9,502 feet long by 150 feet wide. The airport support flights to a total of eighteen non-stop flights to various US cities.
